About riding in the Czech Republic
The Czech Republic offers rolling countryside, low mountain ranges and quiet roads between historic towns. Weather is mild in summer, and spring through early autumn is the usual season.
Estimated finish times
The route is about 101 miles. Here is the moving time at a steady average speed. It is a flat-ground baseline: climbing, wind, stops at aid stations and group riding all move the real number, so treat it as a starting range.
| Average speed | Moving time |
|---|---|
| 10 mph | 10h 08m |
| 12 mph | 8h 26m |
| 14 mph | 7h 14m |
| 16 mph | 6h 20m |
| 18 mph | 5h 38m |
Most recreational riders average 12–16 mph on rolling terrain in a group, and less on hilly routes.
