Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge
Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge is a gran fondo-style mass-participation ride in Taupo, New Zealand, scheduled for November 28, 2026.
About riding in New Zealand
New Zealand packs mountains, lakes, coastline and rolling farmland into a small area, with weather that can change quickly. Seasons are reversed from the northern hemisphere, and summer is the most reliable time to ride.
Finish-time planning
The organizer doesn't list a total distance we could verify. Once you know the route, the Ride Planner will estimate your time from its elevation profile, the wind forecast and your power.
Plan your ride
Paste the event's RideWithGPS route into the planner (many organizers publish one) to see your projected finish time, the headwind or tailwind you'll face, the temperature range, and how much to eat and drink. The ride date is pre-filled.
